FTV 1/24/11

Good afternoon sea term followers,
The sun finnaly shows itself! This is the first day in Vera Cruz that I can describe as hot. People are shoping and enjoying thier last day in port. The mexican ruins tour as well as a white water rafting tour left early this morning, should be fun. Yesterday I found out that the best aquarium in all of Latin America is walking distance away, and that many cadets visited it. Liberty tonight is shorter than usuall to make sure that all cadets get back safe, and are alert for tomorrows sailing muster. Seniors (rates included) need to report back no later than 2300, sophmores by 2200, and freshman by 2100. Many look forward to getting back to sea. The secound longest leg of our journey sits in front of us now. After 10 days at sea we reach Barbados for 4 days, followed by 2 days at sea then San Juan for another 4 days, after that it is less than a week untill we reach Buzzards Bay!
