FTV February 16

We arrived in Miami at 0800. Since we are coming into the United States from a foreign port we must first go through a customs check to ensure everyone on board is a U.S. citizen. This will take some time to complete because we are going to have to have everyone get off the ship,go through the customs check, then get back onto the ship. We all hope this won’t take too long so the cadets may do some exploring.

For Miami there is only one excursion planned which an everglades tour and alligator safari. This sounds like a great day and I can’t wait to check it out. Also going on Sunday and Monday is the annual Miami boat show. This seems to be the real big interest amongst cadets for things to do in port. I’m really excited to see Miami since I have never been here and I’ll keep you posted on what happens.

A webcam is a video camera which streams live videos or images so that viewers can see what is happening in remote locations in real time. Real time means that you can see is happening right now Click here to learn more. Here are some webcams that will allow you to "Miami" just like the Cadets are.
